Governors

Welcome to our Governors' section.

A word from the Chair of Governors

Having been born and brought up in Boldre, I feel very strongly that a thriving school is vital to the village. William Gilpin gives its pupils the opportunity to develop in themselves on their journey through childhood. Obviously the core academic education is paramount and we watch this closely. Thanks to our lovely expanse of outside space they have the benefit of a more rounded experience in these critical, formative years. We celebrate the individual and encourage them to be the best they can.

As governors, our aims are to ensure the school is well run and to support the school, its staff and its pupils. We want pupils to enjoy a thorough and broad education so that, when they move on to the next stage of their lives, they are confident and ready to make the most of their own unique talents.
